People from all over the world are helping the Global People Project to happen in many ways, here are some of the things that you could do to help out:

  • Transcribe answers to the interview questions for the Thought Map.
  • Translate answers into English from one of the following:

    Mandarin, Cantonese, Malayalam, Hindi, Urdu, Kashmiri, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Xosa, Afrikaans, Arabic, Parsi, Japanese.
  • Do some of the technical processing to get the clips onto the Thought Map.
  • Get involved in the web development of the Global People Project.

Hugh Lewis devised and founded Global People Project as a geo-social project and later went on to set it up as a social enterprise of which he is a director. Hugh has personally recorded much of the initial content for GPP and is working on developing the full version of the art work along with installations for galleries and other public spaces.

Nevil recorded the interviews for Global People Project in Bam while working on the Bam Project there with Picture People.
Nils Millahn set up Global People Project as a social enterprise and is a director of the company. Nils uses his Internet development skills to make Global People Project into the reality that we have evolving on this site now. Nils has also helped to record content for GPP from Belgrade.
TJ Whitney is using his database skills to create the back-end of the GPP website.
Tom Mustill recorded and has helped to process some of the GPP's first interviews.
